At Eat the Change, we’re on a mission to help consumers “Eat (and Drink) the Change they wish to see in the world,” starting with our main product line: Just Ice Tea. When their beloved brand, Honest Tea, was discontinued, Co-Founders Seth Goldman and Barry Nalebuff partnered with Celebrity Chef Spike Mendelsohn to brew a new, delicious tasting beverage that supports fair trade and organic farming. Launched in fall 2022 through Eat the Change, Just Ice Tea™ now offers thirteen varieties of unsweetened and just sweet enough teas made with clean, easily recognizable ingredients. Through its commitment to fair trade, Just Ice Tea helps provide a more just, healthier way of life for our farmers and our planet—and healthier options for you. This is Just Ice Tea, but it’s also so much more.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking enthusiastic and motivated students to work with the Just Ice Tea-m this summer through our marketing and sales internship program. As an intern, you will drive brand awareness, engage with customers, and encourage trial and adoption of our products through events, retailer relations, and direct interactions. This is a summer-long role with full-time hours and frequent weekend work. Key Responsibilities:

· Event Management and Product Demos: Work with Field Marketing team to execute sampling events, product demos, and brand activations.

· Retailer relationships and sales strategy: Work closely with Sales managers to develop relationships with key retailers and create sales strategies to increase sales of Just Ice Tea.

· Feedback Collection & Reporting: Gather and report on consumer feedback, engagement metrics, and event outcomes. (End of summer report)

· Social Media Content Creation: Develop and share engaging content for social media platforms including Instagram (Stories, Reels and/or posts); TikToks, memes and photos.

· Time Management: Master prioritizing tasks and managing a busy schedule in a fast-paced environment.

· Sales Tactics: Gain hands-on experience with sales strategies, including pitching to retailers and engaging customers.

· Social Media Strategy: Participate in a social media workshop and learn to craft compelling content tailored to different platforms.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week and the potential for additional hours based on availability.
