Senior Facilities Technician

Position Summary

OEV is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Senior Facilities Tech to supervise, monitor and maintain building infrastructure and equipment. Primary goal is to manage all aspects of facility and equipment management. Including facility expansion, facilities and equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.

Position Responsibilities

• Works with building management to keep facility well serviced and maintained
• Supervises in support of facility and business groups
• Responsible for building systems and safety equipment to ensure optimal operation and performance
• Performs occasional hands-on maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
• Works to provide input and feedback on future equipment selection, infrastructure allocation and performance standards
• Works to identify specialty vendors and contractor for the service, maintenance and upgrades to equipment as needed
• Works to develop and execute preventive maintenance plans, spare parts, and operator’s manuals for facilities and equipment
• Actively participates in continuous improvement and quality activities to assure the facility and equipment meets performance standards

Position Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance & management
• Experience developing specifications for contracted facilities work and associated vendor management. Hands on skills and experience with facilities and equipment installation, repair, and maintenance
• Experience in developing and performing schedule preventive maintenance on facilities/equipment
• Experience using power tools (drill & tap, milling, lathe, welding).
• Experience with wiring applications

Ideal candidates will also have

• Experience with building management systems
• Ability to create simple mechanical designs via AutoCAD or SolidWorks
