Position

We are looking for an energetic Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications who can lead the firm’s marketing initiatives, including strategy, content, creative, and execution. The successful candidate has experience developing campaigns that build brand awareness through both traditional marketing channels and other creative methods. In addition, the successful candidate has robust experience leveraging social media and other digital channels to drive contractor leads. The successful candidate is proactive in generating unique ideas and executing them while taking complete ownership from beginning to end. This individual loves analytics, and his/her decisions and recommendations are guided by data. No task is too big or too small for them, and they'll do what it takes to get the job done. The Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications will focus their efforts on B2B activity, which includes providing strategic support for our contractor partners as they build awareness with homeowners. You’ll work closely with the VP, Product and VP, Business Development, among other key members of the management team. Although there is a preference for this individual to work from Service 1st‘s headquarters in Bethesda, MD, remote work flexibility is available for the right individual.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop the firm’s overall marketing strategy and execution plan, including the marketing budget

• Build and deliver short-term and long-term plans for building company awareness and marketing the Premier Program

• Build and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers and industry stakeholders to the Premier Program

• Lead marketing campaigns through idea creation to execution, implementation, and results evaluation

• Conduct research and analyze data to identify patterns and trends that will impact our business and message

• Work with sales personnel to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers

• Communicate with Trade Organizations and Trade Press to earn share of mind and marketing opportunities

• Develop marketing strategies for new products and services that align with current company standards

• Collaborate with the leadership team to make high-level decisions regarding the direction of the company

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or master’s degree (preferably in marketing)

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

• Prior experience with digital and social media marketing

• Significant hands-on experience with paid social marketing and advertising

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to be flexible in a rapidly changing work environment

• Highest levels of integrity, an unwavering commitment to the team, and a willingness to go the extra mile

• Experience leveraging marketing automation software to manage campaigns, such as HubSpot Marketing Professional / Enterprise

• Home services industry experience preferred but not required

Compensation commensurate with experience
