Why You'll Love this Role
Based in New York, New York, and reporting to the CEO the General Manager (GM) will be responsible for the business performance of Everytable in the New York City market. The GM is responsible for all aspects of Everytable NYC, inclusive of successful store operations and profitability, new store openings, day-to-day staffing management, profitable coordination with our food production facility in the Bronx, ownership over a regional P&L, and building the Everytable brand and loyalty in New York City. They will also be responsible for growing and driving profitability in the foodservice, ecommerce, SmartFridge, and amenity businesses, in partnership with company leadership. A successful General Manager will manage and be evaluated on profitability and growth of the market.

Your Impact on the Mission:
  • Growing the New York metro region and driving to profitability. 
  • Managing the region’s P&L, including forecasting targets, growing topline revenue, tracking performance, driving innovative initiatives to maximize profitability, and proactively managing margin and costs.
  • Interfacing with Operations, Finance, Logistics, and other teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and the timely resolution of production issues.
  • Building and developing strong relationships with senior cross functional leaders in the company in order to communicate local needs and drive change. 
  • Collaborating with Brand & Marketing to execute consumer facing initiatives to grow sales
  • Building and managing a team of store managers focused on hospitality, operations, profitability, and guest experience 
  • Ensuring successful launch of new products and seasonal menus 
  • Developing the capability to oversee additional cities as “satellite” markets that leverage the leadership and scale infrastructure of a main market
  • Supporting Real Estate and Supply Chain team with strong local relationships with landlords, asset managers, commissary partners, vendors 
  • Ensuring successful completion of New Store Opening critical path
  • Assisting in the preparation of an annual operating budget and strategic plan for the commissary in support of the business’ goals and objectives
  • Participating in the planning and preparation of the annual capital expenditures budget and plans and implements capital projects within the budget
  • Managing Everytable’s truck and van fleet and full-time in-house drivers
  • Developing and maintaining a safe, enjoyable, efficient, and effective operation through the selection, training, coaching, termination and motivation of all commissary and store employees
  • Establishing and maintaining commissary policies and procedures in support of Everytable’ s company mission, vision and values.
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local statutes.

What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • Seven to ten years of experience leading and operating commercial teams and growing businesses or business channels. 
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college. 
  • Strong analytical thinking skills; intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem solving capacity.
  • Continuous improvement and optimization mindset. 
  • Autonomy and accountability. 
  • Data-Driven, disciplined, objective and detail-oriented
