We work alongside our partners to ensure that surplus items – whether seasonal, overstocked, or nearing expiration — end up on dinner tables, not in the landfill.

As an Account Executive, Enterprise Accounts at Flashfood, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our footprint within large, enterprise-level grocery retailers. You will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and closing deals that contribute to our mission of reducing food waste.

What you’ll do:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Identify and target potential enterprise grocery retail partners.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
    • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
    • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the specific challenges and opportunities of potential clients.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to each prospect's needs.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Negotiation and Closing:
    • Lead contract negotiations and close deals with enterprise accounts.
    • Collaborate with legal, finance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth contract execution.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Work closely with the Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
    • Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably within the grocery retail or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing large, complex deals.
  • Strong understanding of the grocery retail industry and its unique challenges.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Passion for sustainability and reducing food waste.
