Summary

Responsible for performing cycle counts with great attention to detail to track and monitor inventory within the warehouse. Must also aid in any inventory returns, adjustments, verifications, and dispositions.

Responsibilities

• Cycle counts raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, semi-finished goods and non-conforming materials on a daily basis.
• Monitors and controls inventory integrity.
• Maintains product identification, location, and lot code accuracy.
• Research inventory discrepancies.
• Works with Finance and Logistics teams to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
• Reports discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products.
• Ensures materials are in proper locations. Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory.
• Opens cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand. Weighs and marks product displaying remaining product left.
• Communicates and develops process enhancements as needed. Performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them.
• Performs physical wall to wall inventory as needed.
• Moves inventory and assists logistics team with returned and expired inventory when primary functions are completed.
• Assists logistics team with dispositions and any inventory inquiries.

Supervisory Responsibilities

In accordance with applicable policies/procedures and Federal/State laws, may perform the following Team Lead responsibilities: planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This position has no disciplinary authority.

The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted, and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate. Field conditions vary. Exposed to various raw materials, including allergens (i.e., milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nut, peanuts, wheat, soy).

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge

• Requires warehouse experience in a make to order manufacturing environment.
• Requires strong organizational, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic understanding of Excel/SAP systems
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Speak, read, and write Workplace English
• Bilingual communication skills a plus

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, crawl, sit,
talk, move about, hear and speak. May be required to work in restricted spaces and/or under difficult lighting and access conditions.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, and be able to use appropriate
support equipment to lift and move greater amounts. Must be able to stand for approximately 8 hours.
Must be able to work independently, in a team environment, and drive projects to solution.
Operate fork truck and other material handling equipment. Ability to climb on and off forklift repeatedly.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee is required to use
properly use such safety equipment as is appropriate to the work to prevent injury to self or
others.

Additional Information
The Salary Range for this position at Lief Labs is 17.00-19.50 (USD) hourly. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to market demands, experience, training, skills, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, wellness benefits, education reimbursement program, and PTO. This position is bonus eligible.
