Position Responsibilities

• Works with building management to keep the facility well-serviced and maintained
• Supervises in support of facility and business groups
• Responsible for building systems and safety equipment to ensure optimal operation and performance
• Performs occasional hands-on maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
• Works with lead members of technical staff to provide input and feedback on future equipment selection, infrastructure allocation, and performance standards
• Works with lead to identify specialty vendors and contractors for the service, maintenance, and upgrades to equipment as needed
• Works with lead to develop and execute preventive maintenance plans, spare parts, and operator’s manuals for facilities and equipment
• Actively recommends and participates in continuous improvement and quality activities to ensure the facility and equipment meet performance standards

Position Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience in facilities maintenance & management
• Experience developing specifications for contracted facilities work and associated vendor management
• Hands-on skills and experience with facilities and equipment installation, repair, and maintenance
• Experience in developing and performing scheduled preventive maintenance on facilities/equipment
• Experience with building management systems
• Ability to dimension 3D design in AutoCAD and Solidworks, and create simple mechanical designs preferred
• Experience using power tools (drill & tap, milling, lathe, welding)
• Experience with wiring applications
