Tax & Treasury Accountant

Position Summary
Primary responsibility is to support the Treasury functions of the company. Time will also be split between Tax and Finance responsibilities based on the candidates’ skills, knowledge, and company needs. This would be a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a dynamic finance and accounting role. This role reports directly to the Director of Finance.
Position Responsibilities
- Daily reconciliation of bank accounts
- Support of the annual budget process
- Responds to information requests
- Compile short and long-term cash forecasts
- Manage daily ACH/Wire transaction requirements
- Banking and cash management functions to maintain corporate liquidity
- Manage draws and repayments for large and complex commercial credit facilities
- Gathers information and data for outside auditors and tax professionals
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Performs research regarding tax for new business initiatives and projects
- Conducts Ad-hoc projects to support departments across the organization from a finance perspective
- Supports data analysis and integration across software platforms
- Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
Position Qualifications
- Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated success in a multi-task environment, with high emphasis on attention to detail and follow-through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (daily use of Excel functions)
- Persistence, flexibility, and adaptability
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have
- Manufacturing, tax, or treasury experience
- Experience and interest in continuous process improvement and continued learning
- A degree in accounting or finance.

- Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards requiring candidates to work in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
