What we need:

You understand our (potential) customers inside and out. You live and breathe consumer insights and have a good understanding of consumer needs. Your aim is to develop and execute the Marketing Strategy flow for tado° and to provide maximum value for our customers through developing a variety of value propositions. You have a very good understanding of the different building blocks of value tado° provides or can provide in the future. You work closely together with product managers, marketers, sales managers and customer care to develop, test, implement and scale propositions that create value for both the customer and our company. You enjoy selling new ideas to stakeholders and your professionalism and enthusiasm for creating value brings all stakeholders together.

Fostering market intelligence and market opportunity identification comes natural to you. To give guidance to the marketing strategy and in order to develop the right value propositions you thoroughly understand what’s happening in our markets. You strive for decision making based on a solid foundation of market intelligence. You like gathering information through multiple sources, analyzing the data and identifying trends and opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Strategic Marketing Planning process resulting in Source of Business selection, Target Audience identification and Go to Market plan
  • Deriving, aligning and owning the Marketing Calendar
  • Providing focus to the marketing strategy through solid and data driven market analysis and being responsible for developing new distinctive propositions across different European countries that match the purpose, vision and strategy of the company
  • Analyzing potential market and product gaps across the company's new and existing portfolio
  • Identifying opportunities through interviews, data analyses, competitive analyses and market scans, which you then translate into concrete actions or initiatives
  • Using methodologies such as Service Design and Value Proposition Canvas
  • Starting up pilots with a continuous cycle of learning and improving
  • Initiating innovative proposals and decisively involve others in your plans
  • Evangelizing value proposition thinking throughout the organization
